Week

Its been a week since i last blogged, no this blog is not dead yet... lol. Some interesting things happened this week, i went fish shopping, went to the 7th highest point in S'pore, had food poisoning/stomach flu without vomitting for the first time(vomitting sux, when u'r like purging everything out), bought my FUJI "polaroid" cam, celebrated my mum and BSDFBF's Bday, tried baked alaska for the first time at Island Creamery etc.

I really hate food poisoning/stomach flu, cos u feel damn sick and sleepy, good thing i didnt puke this time otherwise it'd be even worse. Fancy puking green stuff(bile maybe?) and feeling as if someone's squeezing ure intestines from the inside and won't let go until u get everything out. URGH... Main suspect for cause of food poisoning: Murtabak near nic's place. Good recommendation Nic!

I went with Yong Di to Equinox to celebrate his Bday, alrik n Xh are in Aussie so there were only the 2 of us left in Sunny ol' S'pore. The food wasnt great but it was fun eating at high altitudes and appreciating the view. Too bad we didnt get the window seat otherwise it would've been better!

We speculated that it should be caramelised marshmallow on the outside but the inside rox, there is a lil ice cream with some berries. TOTALLY ROX MY SOX. u should try it :D

Although it was a busy week, it was still filled with fun.

Hell Month

Like every other TP marketer, i've been working on my projects like a mad cow. Thonning like before and feeling "gong gong" when i wake up. Btw, thonning means "project marathoning" through the night, its worse than the stand chart run. trust me. haha.
Because of all the bore and stress of the projects, i've been binging on chocolates, gonna be diaetic soon.

Really can't wait for all this to end but it wont be soon, after submissions, there'll be end sem testS too T.T I want my social life back! ARGH!!! I wanna watch movies, go shopping, have nice meals and chill. Guess i gotta endure for now.

Btw, i've always been fascinated by the shuffle feature, how the player always chooses the right song to play. The song that i really wanna hear at the right time. Its creepy but amazing... haha ;)

PS: Finally found time to watch tv now, while blogging.

New Year's Eve

Some pics of NYE, we had dinner at Mykii, scrutinizing our dinner and complaining bout the portions! haha. And of cos there was cam whoring and such, wat else do u do while having dinner right?! I had mussels broth thingy for appetiser, mashed pumpkin steak for main course and starwberry coconut sago thing for dessert. The names of each dish are AT LEAST 10(TEN) words long, so i obviously cant remember them. haha. Went to Harry's after dinner for drinks but xiu hao, yu huai and kheng khia got chased out cos they wouldn't take alcohol. They need to go for alcohol training classes!

After all the "outdoor activities", only me yongdi alrik dick and darren went to yongdi's hse for the countdown. Watching ridiculous mediacorp astists ruin the top 10 songs of the year. OMG, Adrian Pang was hideous in that F1 theme song performance. LAO uncle alrdy still trying to act young or wat, give up MAN! Anyways, we popped pink "champagne" aka sparkling wine at 12am like everyone else. Yong di threw the bottle at me halfway thru cos he couldnt pop it and in the end, i popped it up his ceiling and his first words in 2009 were "OH! My CEILING!" (very loudly)
cos alot of the wine went up to his ceiling and stained it. But thanks to supervisor dick's fast directions & commands, we cleaned it all up in a jiffy. haha. alrik left at 12.30am cos he was simply "TOO TIRED!"
The rest of the morning was spent playing hotel 626, talking bout the supernatural and listening to 周公讲鬼 on podcast. It wasnt very scary but we still found something interesting enough to do :)

Went for breakfast at dunno wat market, super LONG walk from ulu pandan, i nearly fainted and fell into the drain on the way cos i was soooo sleepy.
The train ride back home was damn pai seh, i tried my best not to open my mouth while sleeping. But i think i failed miserably... I hope no one i know, saw me. *pray* But at least i got down at the right stop, tts something to be proud of!

PS: We need more pple for the countdown next year!

BOred and Groggy

I'm so bored and tired now. The first sign of boredom is when u start surfing youtube for stupid videos to watch and i alrdy did that.
Went out to do project in the morning today and read alot of Twilight :) Had a super tummyache, i was quite scared it would turn into stomach flu if i ate fried stuff, so i didnt eat while we were at Mcdonalds. Looking at them eat my fave curly fries was a sight hard to bear...
Watched Australia with Yong Di, Alrik and Xiu Hao yesterday. Well, the movie's not as boring as it looks. Its actually freaking funny! Everyone should watch it, u'll love it, guaranteed!
Cant wait to blog bout NYE, but cant do that till Xiu Hao sends me the pics.

Withdrawal Symptoms are BAD.

Finally finished reading the Twilight Series, suffering from withdrawal symptoms like emptiness and a lost of meaning to my existence. It doesnt help much when the hols are drawing to a close, LOTS of stress waiting for the marketing peeps from 29 Dec onwards *shudders* Right now, its like how i felt when i finished the last Harry Potter book but HP was worse, the ending was so complete that you can be 100% sure there won't be a sequel until at least a decade later. As for Twilight, maybe i only need wait half a decade?! hopefully... Breaking Dawn didnt really mark an END, which is good :D
Went for some retail therapy with Alrik on fri, ZARA sales was the main calling but there were sales EVERYWHERE literally. Every glass panel/window on the stores at Orchard read "SALES SALES SALES". Who could resist that? I think the "Who" refers mainly to me me actually, only a shopping addict like me cant resist sales. Bot a new hoodie(i know its impractical and i hav a lot of impraticality in my closet alrdy), weird Tee and a weirder pair of shoes. I've been having a kink for weird stuff lately, so weird that i dont think i'm weird enough to carry it off. LOL.
Btw, i still have my A&P IJ to complete before term starts. NO IDEA how i'm gonna finish that in a day plus a draft for IMP1 IJ too :(


PS:I decided to borrow The Host from Alrik, don't think i can hold on much longer w/o some Stephanie Meyer. haha.

Twilight & Insomnia

hihi. i realise i havnt blogged since forever. So i decided to revive this dead thing. haha. I'm going GAGA over the Twilight series, its even worse than Harry Potter, its like "my own personal brand of heroin". I dont know if Twilight's the reason why i've been suffering from insomnia, hopefully not. My mind was so boggled that i ended up going for a walk at 1am in the morning while listening to the Twilight soundtrack. I had to post my X'mas/New Year cards at the same time too. So, i was strolling lifelessly towards Bedok Reservoir when out of the blue, it started to drizzle. Much as i expected, it started POURING. Seriously, like WTH! So suey meh?! So i ran ran ran to the nearest shelter, thank god it wasnt very far. I ended up stuck under the massive flyover, waiting patiently for the rain to stop. With chilly wind blowing in my face, i kinda regretted not bringing my hoodie out with me (learnt my lesson now). So there i was with no handphone, so i couldnt even get someone to chat with me while i waited, glumly. At least 5 taxis slowed down when they approached me but i had no cash with me (another lesson learnt). I think i listened to the whole soundtrack at least once before i realised that the rain wasnt gonna stop anytime soon. Once more, i had to RUN RUN RUN but this time it was for the distance of one bus stop to another. Not very near, especially when your running against icy wind and heavy downpours. I'm glad i ran cos the rain didnt cease till i woke up at 10am this morning. Btw, it was already 3am by the time i got home,i slept at 3.30am. Thinking back, its actually kinda fun. I mean, how many people have been bo liao enough to have taken walks alone at 1am ( until 3, with rain)? Can't wait for X'mas tmr, my gifts inculde "Tales of Beedle the Bard", "Eclipse" and "Breaking Dawn". YEAHHHHHHHH. I'm gonna finish the series before the hols end. The next term's gonna be hell... MERRY X'MAS everyone! I hope i'll blog again before the new year. And to alrik, i'm glad i felt like we were back to sec1 days yesterday. Chatting carefreely and all that. You can ask me again if you dont know wat i mean, LOL.

PS: I'm so afraid of turning 19, any number above 18 turns me off, MAJOR.
