EAT

Just completed the first part of the EAT PRAY LOVE series. Dare me to make an assumption that this section would resonate the most with me. PRAY and LOVE are subjects I'm probably most amateur and uninvolved in. Not attempting to be humble here.
This is kind of making me want to make annual reading trips overseas. A kind of retrospective trip for myself. Spiritually. HCM is the place in mind for now. But we shall see again.

INSOMNIA. AND I LOATHE IT. Urgh, gross.. I just wanna sleep. It can get so difficult some times. I've been deepending on my cough syrup to get myself woozy enough for sleep. Now i'm wide awake without chemical assistance. Sad. Even my lullaby goddess Emiliana Torrini works no more.

DESPERATE

I'm going crazy just thinking about my holidays that are so NEAR, yet so FAR! Then again, i need to pass one major landmark before reaching my Holiday Mania! The awesome 21st! Just two years ago, i already started dreading turning into an adult. Now, i'm kind of looking forward to growing up and earning my own income ASAP! I want to spend my own money, slog for a job i love, meet up for awesome meals and shopping trips with my AWESOMEST FRIENDS! Hopefully we would all still be awesome friends a few decades down the winding path..

For now, it shall be packed lunch from my mum and ultimate pinching from home for breakfast. SAVE SAVE SAVE! Only one outing for the weekdays and another outing for the weekends, ALL WITHIN A $100 budget per week =)
Baking's gonna be my favourite activity to spend time at a low cost for the weekends now. Heh..

Holiday Mania 2011

Its official people, my holidays have been confirmed!

Its gonna be a 3 part travel series spanning 5 months starting with Ho Chi Minh city, officially my favourite city ever, in July.
Followed by the jaded Bangkok in September, which i havnt been to. I know, i know, long overdue..
Ending with a friendly visit to Perth, Down Under, HI JI JIE!

Can't wait for such a colourful fiesta, In the mean time, gotta find money to make my trips satisfying TTM.

Totally tried Jetstar's pricebeat guarantee today. OMG, its actually real and the conditions are surprisingly lax. SO jetstar beat my Tiger airfare by TEN PERCENT. Now i get to travel on an airline with a better "on-time" record and departs from a REAL Terminal. Lol.
I urge everyone to try out the price beat guarantee, its easy to negotiate with the customer service personnel and they are alot more friendly and helpful compared to Tiger's personnel. Tiger should die. Regret not price beating for my Perth fare in November too =/
Oh well! Ok, lets not get too complacent. I could get unlucky..

Lesson learnt for the week.. Space out your meet ups!
I managed to spend all my budget for this month within e first week of getting my pay. Now i'm broke. SUX. Besides, it got me feeling really really tiree for e week. Not worth it all. So, from now on, it shall be meetups only on wednesdays, fri and sat. I'll try my best to stay home on Sundays too. For e sake of my holidays fund! :)

Tanya's songs can kill. Such an endearing, meandering, muffled voice.

I love meeting up with my friends so much. It's to me a comfort zone where i know there are still people who i can be myself with. And i'm gonna be having alot of that this week :)

Sometimes i wonder if siblings should be close to each other.. I really hate telling my sis too much, there's that authoritative feel to her that still lingers. Hmmm..

Really cant wait for my holidays. Why do NSFs get paid so little?? Not enough money for my holidays, HELLO! HEAR ME?
