Finally got to watching A Single Man. Tom Ford really did an impeccable job at creating this 90min piece of art. Colin Firth never fails to impress me, from this to The King's Speech. Not to mention Nicholas Hoult from Skins. Hey Nat, i want the Skins DVD we bought in Shanghai!

PS: I so need to read the novel.

Chance Encounter

My internet connection is retardedly slow which irritates me alot. I don't when i started becoming so impatient. Not liking this trait at all.
Sometimes, there isn't much I wanna do other than to be outside. I long to be free but i hate being alone. The ironies of life..

Finally settled my cravings for Fish n Co's Garlic Butter Mussels. Kinda disappointed by the weeny mussels but hey, whatever. It's inflation yo! Had a "well-done" chocolate lava cake. Tasted more like a chocolate muffin. Good thing it was half priced. Love Yongdi for his insanely brave impersonation of a wannabe SPG. I thought my china bitch customer impersonation was fun too. Oh, the silly things we do.

I feel so much better whenever i'm around my friends. They are in a way, my life. Social media really helps me ALOT. Otherwise, i'd either be better off dead or feeling miserable all the time.

PS: Birthday parties are a love-hate affair.

EAT

Just completed the first part of the EAT PRAY LOVE series. Dare me to make an assumption that this section would resonate the most with me. PRAY and LOVE are subjects I'm probably most amateur and uninvolved in. Not attempting to be humble here.
This is kind of making me want to make annual reading trips overseas. A kind of retrospective trip for myself. Spiritually. HCM is the place in mind for now. But we shall see again.

Feels like...

INSOMNIA. AND I LOATHE IT. Urgh, gross.. I just wanna sleep. It can get so difficult some times. I've been deepending on my cough syrup to get myself woozy enough for sleep. Now i'm wide awake without chemical assistance. Sad. Even my lullaby goddess Emiliana Torrini works no more.
