Scrimping and saving is my calling! At least till July. I need to start filling my blog up with pictures and photos galore! So that it doesn't turn into so much of a ranting space.

MAY you end quickly

May is finally coming to an end!! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOTS!

June supposedly should be a happy month for me to breeze through since its my birthday month! I'm kind of worried now that Mum hasn't asked me what I would like for my birthday. I really need her to sponsor my BKK trip in Sept since I'm rather cash-strapped. I hope she doesn't get me some silly expensive birthday present that I absolutely have no need for! When women get older, they tend to have weird ideas on what their children want. Straight up, NOT A GOOD TRAIT. Worst of all, I probably would have to look happy at receiving an expensive birthday present that I wouldn't appreciate. Haha.

Parties

If you are my friend and i attended your birthday party, you can count on it that i treat you as an important friend. Either that or i know a lot of people at the party. Unless i'm REALLY not free. There's something in me that refuses to attend Birthday parties. I just don't like that feeling of uncertainty if I will feel comfortable there, will there be someone for me to talk to, blah... ... I'm just unable to bring out my sociable side when I'm surrounded by strangers.

Messed up

After almost 21 years, i finally found out why (at the urinal) i always have the need to keep different groups of friends. It might have to do with me being a Gemini, the one with an identity crisis. I basically have the need to acknowledge the different sides of me with different groups of people. I can be a sophisticated diner, thrift foodie, cheapo finder, adventure seeker, holiday maker, shopaholic, bimbo, listener, attention seeker, bookworm, clubber, heartless, emotional, cool, joker.

There are too many sides of me that can't really be thrown onto one person or a group of friends. I need diversification.

May is almost over, can't wait for June to be over too! Then it'll be July and the most anticipated part of 2011 will begin for me :)

Self-restraint

Manage to convince myself not to be silly and buy the air tickets to Bali. Actually it would really be kinda retarded to buy tickets for June 2012 when June 2011 isn't even here yet! I'm just a f*cking impulsive shopper. BUT i'm quite certain that i would want to go on a beach or resort holiday alone for my next birthday. Just to kick back and relax :)

Then again, who knows what might happen one year from now?

Sister emailed to say she couldn't find my Longchamp stuffs at both the boutiques she's been too. Like Babarella always says, "This is very dare-verl-stating(devastating)!" :(
Need some divine intervention to lead my dear sister into the god-given direction..

Finally got to watching A Single Man. Tom Ford really did an impeccable job at creating this 90min piece of art. Colin Firth never fails to impress me, from this to The King's Speech. Not to mention Nicholas Hoult from Skins. Hey Nat, i want the Skins DVD we bought in Shanghai!

PS: I so need to read the novel.
