Withdrawal Symptoms are BAD.

Finally finished reading the Twilight Series, suffering from withdrawal symptoms like emptiness and a lost of meaning to my existence. It doesnt help much when the hols are drawing to a close, LOTS of stress waiting for the marketing peeps from 29 Dec onwards *shudders* Right now, its like how i felt when i finished the last Harry Potter book but HP was worse, the ending was so complete that you can be 100% sure there won't be a sequel until at least a decade later. As for Twilight, maybe i only need wait half a decade?! hopefully... Breaking Dawn didnt really mark an END, which is good :D
Went for some retail therapy with Alrik on fri, ZARA sales was the main calling but there were sales EVERYWHERE literally. Every glass panel/window on the stores at Orchard read "SALES SALES SALES". Who could resist that? I think the "Who" refers mainly to me me actually, only a shopping addict like me cant resist sales. Bot a new hoodie(i know its impractical and i hav a lot of impraticality in my closet alrdy), weird Tee and a weirder pair of shoes. I've been having a kink for weird stuff lately, so weird that i dont think i'm weird enough to carry it off. LOL.
Btw, i still have my A&P IJ to complete before term starts. NO IDEA how i'm gonna finish that in a day plus a draft for IMP1 IJ too :(


PS:I decided to borrow The Host from Alrik, don't think i can hold on much longer w/o some Stephanie Meyer. haha.

Twilight & Insomnia

hihi. i realise i havnt blogged since forever. So i decided to revive this dead thing. haha. I'm going GAGA over the Twilight series, its even worse than Harry Potter, its like "my own personal brand of heroin". I dont know if Twilight's the reason why i've been suffering from insomnia, hopefully not. My mind was so boggled that i ended up going for a walk at 1am in the morning while listening to the Twilight soundtrack. I had to post my X'mas/New Year cards at the same time too. So, i was strolling lifelessly towards Bedok Reservoir when out of the blue, it started to drizzle. Much as i expected, it started POURING. Seriously, like WTH! So suey meh?! So i ran ran ran to the nearest shelter, thank god it wasnt very far. I ended up stuck under the massive flyover, waiting patiently for the rain to stop. With chilly wind blowing in my face, i kinda regretted not bringing my hoodie out with me (learnt my lesson now). So there i was with no handphone, so i couldnt even get someone to chat with me while i waited, glumly. At least 5 taxis slowed down when they approached me but i had no cash with me (another lesson learnt). I think i listened to the whole soundtrack at least once before i realised that the rain wasnt gonna stop anytime soon. Once more, i had to RUN RUN RUN but this time it was for the distance of one bus stop to another. Not very near, especially when your running against icy wind and heavy downpours. I'm glad i ran cos the rain didnt cease till i woke up at 10am this morning. Btw, it was already 3am by the time i got home,i slept at 3.30am. Thinking back, its actually kinda fun. I mean, how many people have been bo liao enough to have taken walks alone at 1am ( until 3, with rain)? Can't wait for X'mas tmr, my gifts inculde "Tales of Beedle the Bard", "Eclipse" and "Breaking Dawn". YEAHHHHHHHH. I'm gonna finish the series before the hols end. The next term's gonna be hell... MERRY X'MAS everyone! I hope i'll blog again before the new year. And to alrik, i'm glad i felt like we were back to sec1 days yesterday. Chatting carefreely and all that. You can ask me again if you dont know wat i mean, LOL.

PS: I'm so afraid of turning 19, any number above 18 turns me off, MAJOR.

Green Day

Met Janice by accident yesterday along the row of LTs. And by accident, we decided to go to NTUC too. And by ACCIDENT, we met my aunt. Now my whole family's gonna think i have a GF, controversy! JANICE, i HATE YOU. LOL. But b4 NTUC, we were with Yanru, went to buy bathing salt for her ancient grandpa hamster. Pet shops really stink man. After tt, poor Yanru couldnt go to NTUC becos she lives in Boon Lay now, takes her 1 & half hrs to reach home. Poor thing. Here' our green pic, we're the new Green Day. HAHA.

Dessert Buffet

Went dessert buffet with my sis at Goodwood Park on Monday! It was ok ok lah, everythig looked really good but looks can be deceiving. Really loh, it didnt taste very good. The Durian puff was still a little frozen in the centre, they didnt thaw it properly. Got alot of cranberry and raspberry stuff that i dont really like. But there was free flow of Mövenpick Ice Cream, i had like 3 bowls and 6 scoops, haha. Got all my money back just from the ice cream LOL. BTW, does anybody want to go for Taiwan Porridge Buffet?! Happy belated

Blogging bout 17th June 2008, Juz went out with e 1B10 clique to celebrate my Bday, belated. Ooh, it was so much fun.

I met Jan in the aftn to watch Sex and The City at orchard cineleisure b4 meeting the others at The Central (yes, AGAIN). It was so funny when we were buying tickets to SNTC, we were both so scared cos Jan's still underage by a few months but luckily we had a secret weapon HOHOHO, not gonna tell. Sex and the City was vry funny, with alot of WAH, WAH, WAH. Seriously, who wouldnt wanna be rich and living in downtown manhattan? Well of cos the movie was accompanied by tons of nudity and intense sex scenes but even the sex part was hilarious, HAHA.
Jan n i were damn lethargic after watching the movie cos it was like 2&half hours long, we sort of dragged our feet here and there to pass time. We ended up eating snax at dhoby ghaut MRT's foodstalls and gopping free samples from the brownie store. After we were done with DG, we took a train down to Central and once again, we ATE. This time it was the "extremely mouth watering but look like plastic food" croissants on sale at the basement of Central. I bot 8 pieces and shared 2 with Jan.


At 7pm, we all met at Manhattan Fish Market, my fave fishy store for dinner. Dinner was so so cos Jan and Claud ran away to do some stuff for Jan's dad at the ATM. So we had to wait for them to come back, by the time they were back, our food was cold. Altho the food was anti-climax, the mess was FUN!

I went out with Jan again to settle her ATM things once and for all, during this time, the rest were at manhattan discussing with e manager wat to use to slam my face in. They decided on whipped cream with strawberry sauce. N of cos, poor ryhn was clueless. When i came back, i juz sat down with Jan n we were talkin talkin then out of the blue came this white thing about to slam into my face, i wasnt fast enough. So, PIAK, they got me and the WAR commenced! In the end i got back at all of them except jan lah, cos eva was constantly eyeing me, i didnt have time to attack Jan, haha. It was really fun playing with cream, my virgin experience, HAHA.
*Warning: U stink really bad after the cream dries, its like soured milk plus rotten eggs.

But we all still had to take public transport home lah, no choice...

On the actual date of my Birthday, 16 June i went out with chee yong for a free movie cos both of us nothing better to do other than hao lian tt we didnt have hangovers. haha. We were supposed to have the free movie thing but sadly, The Happening was on the *no free list in cathay. So tooooo bad loh, we paid $6 each for it. After that went CD shopping at The Cathay's Gramophone and we went PS carrefour to buy earphones. The earphone is SOLID man...

We hung out till bout 6pm then i headed to The Central to meet yong di, alrik and xiu hao for dinner at Ma Maison. I love that place man, so quaint and english cottage-y. Still got a supposed view of the river, but the window sill too high lah, i couldnt see much, haha. I had sizzling hamburger steak, the waitress gave me a serviette to cover my clothes while she poured the sizzling sauce but it didnt really sass up much. So it was kinda anti-climax. I think yongdi was expecting it to splash all over my face and watch me rolling ard on the floor in agony. FAT hope BITCH!

After our romantic dinner for 4 at Ma Maison, we headed to Plaza Singapura's Swensen's for my complimentary birthday boy firehouse!
