Hello to the remaining readers of my blog!

Just canceled my trip to Shanghai with Kai Ling.. I'M SORRY "UGLY" GIRL! I kinda decided that i actually don't have so much cash to throw around like I used to. Life sucks now.
Rumours are flying that there will be an NS allowance increase after the Singapore Budget 2011 speech. Hope thats true! My research so far has shown that it is only a one-off $100 pay out, through the GST off set package but the search results didn't even look convincing or maybe i'm in denial..

$100 more every month is really A LOT. PRAY HARD FOR ME PLEASE!

Went to JB with the Marist Boys today, Dick (Bday Boy), Yongdi, Alrik, Darren. Yongdi's parents gave us a lift from Newton Mrt to JB and fetched us around JB to like 3 places before finally leaving us to fend for ourselves after dinner. I love kind parents! Guess, if i don't have money to fly, cheap thrills like JB are definitely awesome too =)
I love it that JB is so much more spacious with wide roads and grass fields, feels so much less constricted than in SG. The best part is, you can dress like crap to JB and no one cares. WOOTS.

Future

Went to TTSH to visit my grand uncle at the hospital. While passing by the blocks of condominiums and apartments there, i decided to set myself a few targets.

1. Buy a studio or one-room apartment/condo in a prime area by the age of 32.
2. Earn more than or equal to SGD$20,000 per month by 35.

I really hope i can attain that! Throughout this CNY, i've been praying alot to gods and my ancestors. I kept stressing on blessings for one area of my life. Hope my prayers have been sincere and desperate enough. OH GOD!

SUPER looking forward to fantabulous holidays this year =) Already bought my air tickets to Perth in November. Yes, i know. I'm booking it extremely early. Hi Ji Jie, if you're reading this! Still looking forward to my BKK trip and Shanghai.. Hopefully all of them go through and i might actually enjoy NS. Lol. In the meantime, i'll try to save up as much as i can!

Is it possible for me to take a course in English Language teaching and be a certified British Council English teacher. I'll then take up an overseas internship in Shanghai or Beijing with a local company like Brandstory Inc. While teaching part time at a language school there..

Just phoned my new boss at NSCC (National Servicemen Service Centre) regarding my reporting time tomorrow. I asked her about the working hours and she had to very kindly add in, "You will end work at 5.30 but if you can't finish your work, you'll have to stay back loh." Thanks for scaring me before seeing you in person. FML. God bless I don't suffer for the next 1.5 years..

I don't want today to end. I love long breaks, who doesn't?

I kind of got tempted to buy a kayak yesterday. Haha. Ok, it could be just a 3min thing. But i seriously love kayaking! It just comes so naturally to me =)

I realise that i am someone without a bestfriend. I always say I have a bestfriend because people always expect everyone to have a bestfriend. So it felt like i would be socially crippled if I said I didnt have one.. Its no ones wrong doing that i dont have a bestfriend to speak of. I'm just a selfish person who only thinks for himself so I myself do not qualify to be someone else's bestfriend. I seldom bend my own wishes to accomodate another person. I'm just a prick. But i do feel that i have many good friends and even close friends who I can speak to freely and do the stuff that I want to do with. Its kind of like a Megazod. I put all the qualities of my good friends together and they turn into ONE bestfriend. It isnt all that bad right?

I guess I havnt met that right friend yet. The one who shares the same interests as me; makes me feel comfortable sharing all my thoughts, feelings and past with.. Someone who wouldnt judge the stupids thoughts and emotions i feel..

PS: After reading this post again, i counted 20 "I"s. Self centred enough?
